* Project management with commercial and technical responsibility
* Focus on project progress, quality, cost whilst ensuring customer satisfaction 
* Targeted communication with the customer and suppliers involved in the project 
* Provide support to project planning and sales 
* Early involvement in quotation process for new projects
* Execution of automotive related projects, from planning to final hand-over to customer. Project content ranging from conceptual development to serial production projects, often with testing.
* Build and maintain a contact network within global AVL.
* Projects are executed both in-house and at costumer locations.

* You hold a M.Sc. degree (engineering within relevant area)

Our Tech centers are located in Haninge, Södertälje, Göteborg and Trollhättan. The Calibration team, based in Haninge/Södertälje, is responsible for engine and vehicle level calibration for a diverse range of applications, eg. heavy duty vehicles, construction equipment, non-road & mobile machinery.

Your responsibilities
Calibration of engine control units (ECU) in development and serial projects
Optimization of engine functions and controls, mainly diesel (Emission, Fuel consumption, Performance, OBD or Driveability)
Planning, execution and evaluation of stationary and dynamic calibration in engine test benches
Optimization and testing under various ambient conditions both in-house as well as on customer site
Analysis of results, preparation of reports and presentation with recommendations for customer
Liaison and reporting to various functions within the organization
Technical supervision and mentoring of student engineers



Your profile
Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related Engineering discipline
Experience in calibration, development or testing of powertrains
Good knowledge of combustion engines fundamentals
Basic knowledge of electronics, informatics and control engineering
Good working knowledge of calibration tools (e.g. ATI VISION, INCA)
Working knowledge of data analysis tools
Experience in project planning, co-ordination, and delivery
Communication skills in Swedish and English
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Capable of working independently as well as a part of large and small teams
Willingness to travel



Meritorius
Knowledge within ADAS/AD and/or Hybrid domins
Knowledge of AVL Tools (Cameo, Creta and Concerto)
Experience in supervising personell
Truck driving license (C/CE) Visa mindre
